Web Developer

 

 

This position is responsible for the JNF website and email campaigns. This position will maintain the JNF website and help grow JNF’s campaign through new donors, new donations and development opportunities; design and implement new online marketing features; work with Convio CMS to add new functionality and take part in strategic direction of online marketing efforts, integrating with offline JNF marketing efforts.

 

Accountabilities:

 

• Work with Convio CMS to develop new campaigns to increase online traffic and donations
  • Implementation of online marketing, including:
    • Convio TeamRaiser and Tributes applications
    • HTML Emails
    • Improved functionality
    • New products
• Work with Blackbaud Luminate Online (formerly Convio Online)
  • Troubleshoot issues
  •  Work with Blackbaud on ticket submission and follow-through with resolution

 

• Responsible for HTML design and implementation of JNF website, subsidiary websites and email marketing, including:  
  • Keep overall design fresh and consistent with other JNF marketing materials
  • Develop new online initiatives working with marketing and national department staff
  • Work strategically with field marketing associates/national departments to serve their needs and communities

• Create and manage email campaigns
• Evaluate new technologies for possible benefit to JNF

 

Job Dimensions:

 

This position will work with, and will be supervised by the Marketing Director. This position will also work closely with other members of the Marketing Department both in New York and in the five national Centers of Excellence.  

 

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with Convio
• Should be highly proficient in HTML, CSS with knowledge of Javascript, Flash, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
