Constituency Codes - Help!

Options
I am working on a project to clean up our data base, and the first step is to move to using fewer constituency codes. So A) is it possible to make constituency codes inactive? and if so, B) Where do I find that screen? I can get to the attributes, but not the constituency codes. I'll appreciate any help you can give.

  • The constituent codes can be found under Configuration > Tables > Constituent Codes.  You may have to have user rights to access them.  No, you can not make them inactive, but it does have a nice clean up feature that you can replace code 1 with code 2.
  • Config - Tables - Constituent Codes

From there you can click on them to make them inactive. You can also do a "Table Cleanup" and merge similar codes into one code. Note that inactivating does not remove the codes from the records.
  • You guys are awesome! I spent hours trying to find this and POOF! Thank you all so much.

Thanks for correcting Sunshine.  My memory failed me on the little check box once code is open.  :)
