Why did they remove the print setup icon on the print preveiw screen??  It was so much easeir that way!

    This is one of the nasty side-effects of the upgrade to 7.94 and the Crystal Report engine used for all reporting in RE.  Basically you have to do the setup before you do the preview.  The "old" Crystal engine dates back to 2003 and doesn't play well with many new 64-bit printer drivers.

    I agree that it is annoying that you cannot open the print setup anymore. Sometimes I have a report of several pages, but only need to print one or two pages. Is there any other way to do this in RE? What I have been doing is export to a pdf, then print the pages I want from there. Is there an easier way that I am missing?

    From Preview if you choose to Print you don't get a dialogue that lets you chose which pages to print?  (I'm still on 7.93)

    No, it just sends the document right to the printer. :-O

    Hi all,



    Unfortunately this was due to the release in 7.94, where the same print setup functionality was something that no longer came with the updated version of Crystal Reports.



    However, the good news is we're working on a way to bring this functionality back and are prioritizing this for a future release of Raiser's Edge. You can review the alternative solution on our Knowledgebase here in the meantime: https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/74527

    Interestingly, I just printed a report today and the print setup box opened first. I was able to choose to print 2 copies, and only print certain pages again. Good job for fixing this! Thanks!
