membership benchmark reporting

I've been asked to run a 3 yr membership statistics/comparison report. Since we started using the membership module in 2015 the numbers seemed reasonable. However, because we converted in 2014 and have not really fully utilized the module the info for 2013 also seemed far fetched. Any recommendations on other ways to do so outside of canned membership reporting our metrics seem to be off kilt due to conversion issues with original join dates, mass dropped members, etc.



Are there any work arounds or different method on benchmarking based on memberships?



Any suggestions would be helpful.

Can you build three separate queries pulling the information in that you are looking for and then use formatting in excel to calculate what you are looking for?

I dont think that would work due to data conversion --we had to start our memberships as of 7/1/2014 and have only started to use the membership module this fiscal year.

It sounds like you just don't have the data in RE to be able to generate such a report.  You may have to run reports from your previous system to get the old information and try to combine it with the information in RE (although that would only work for "general" information and non specific information like who renewed/upgraded, etc.).
