Letters created from Action records -- where do they save?

Options
Hey everyone,

I'm exploring the Actions tab and was trying out the process of creating a letter directly from an Action record. Word opened up just fine, I wrote a test message, navigated to the Add-Ins tab, and clicked Save Letter to Action. After that, I got a popup notifying me that my letter had been saved, but now I have no idea how to pull it back up again. It's not in the Notes tab of the Action, where I expected it would show up. Does anybody know?

  • If I'm understanding what you said correctly, I believe that if you go to the action tab on that constituent's record, you will now see the action you just saved.  If you open that up, on the bottom right corner will be a little Word icon.  If you click that, it will open the doc.  Works similar to acknowledgment letters saved on gift records.

Thanks Nicole. The existence of that icon did not register to me at all before you pointed it out. I tend to tune out that little bar at the bottom of the records where they put it. Cool!
