Data Administrator at the James A. Michener Art Museum- Doylestown, PA

The James A. Michener Art Museum, a private non-profit institution with a $ 3 million operating budget and staff of 50 seeks a full-time Data Administrator. The Data Administrator will implement and manage Outbound software and oversee its adoption by Education, Advancement, and Visitor Services Departments. The Data Administrator will ensure the timely processing of registrations for all related education programs including adult, youth and family, group tours, and teachers along with ticketing needs for Visitor Services. The Data Administrator will be the main point of contact and will coordinate data/constituent information while interfacing with multiple departments. The Data Administrator will develop and implement policies and procedures to input and request information on the database, and train staff as necessary.

 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with related experience. Museum or arts related experience a plus. The candidate must have the ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with Museum members, the public, volunteers and staff. The candidate must be a tech savvy individual possessing extreme proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), database programs, direct mail, target marketing and result analysis. Must be detail and service oriented, able to organize and work autonomously while responding to the needs of multiple departments and the community. Excellent leadership, problem solving, communication, service, and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge is highly desirable.

 

This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary in the low $30,000’s. Excellent benefits package includes paid vacation and holidays, retirement plan, medical and disability benefits. EOE.
