Foundation Relations Manager - Visiting Nurse Health System - Atlanta, GA

The Manager of Foundation Relations is responsible for securing funding from private, public and corporate foundations in support of the mission of Visiting Nurse Health System.  The Manager reports to the Vice President of Advancement and manages all aspects of foundation funding including research, strategy, solicitation and stewardship.



Bachelors degree required.  Masters degree in public administration, public health or related field a plus.  Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a fundraising environment for a healthcare organization.  Experience with Raiser's Edge preferred. Knowledge of grant writing and budgeting processes.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.  Ability to use word processing, database and spreadhseet programs.  Ability to maintain confidentiality.
