Is it possible to make one type of payment an anonymous gift--rather than making the donor an anonymous donor?

Hi Shiri,

You can go to the miscellaneous tab of the gift record and mark the "Gift is anonymous" checkbox.This will make only that one gift anonymous, not everything the donor gives.

Shiri - Shannon has your answer - if you meant to make one gift payment anonymous.  You wrote "one type of payment" in your post - no there is not a way to make one type of paymethod like credit card default to anonymous. You can pull the anonymous field into your batch field if for some reason you need to mark as anonymous frequently.

You can also enter as "other" or a blank constiuent and make a note in the references. If you wanted it to be completely anonymous ie- not show up on their file.
