Bristol, UK • £20,000 (p.a. pro rata) • 21 hours per week (part time) • Permanent • Pension

 

This is a great opportunity to join a professional fundraising team in a dynamic and growing International development charity. Our goal is to reduce poverty and protect the environment in the drylands of Africa.

 

We are looking for an experienced database administrator who can help us efficiently and effectively manage our fundraising relationship management database (Raisers Edge) for Individual giving, the wider fundraising team and across the charity.

 

Applicants must have demonstrable experience of Raiser’s Edge, or alternatively a similar CRM platform.

 

Key objectives are to:

  • Manage the database, including database administration, data quality, audits and reviewing and developing fundraising processes and procedures.
  • Manage data processes and procedures for Individual giving (donor recruitment, donor retention, community fundraising and supporter care).
  • Support with management and development of the database.
  • Support the Individual giving team with donation processing, donor acknowledgment and supporter care during busy workloads and staff leave/absence.
  • Provide support to the wider fundraising team with reports, analysis, imports and exports.
 Who we are looking for:
  • Confident with data and competent running complex database processes (e.g. imports, exports, reports, analysis).
  • Numerate, good attention to detail, with a practical and organised approach.
  • A willingness to adapt and seek out opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Flexible and a good team player.
