The Data Management Manager is responsible for gathering business requirements and development specifications for applications. The Manager assists the Director of Information Technology in keeping customer service delivery consistent with the goals and objectives of University Advancement. Responsible for the production, implementation and support of reports using reporting services such as Tableau and the Data Warehouse.

  • Provides technical assistance to web clients (school/units/departments) and accountability ensuring Blackbaud applications are operating efficiently and effectively. Supports subject matter experts with compliance according to federal, state and local laws and regulations, and University policy and procedures as appropriate.
  • Ensures timeliness of transactions processed through Raiser's Edge and Online Express, ensures integrity of the data, and supports closing of the accounting period and report generation.
  • Works with Online Express and implements technology enhancements to improve customer service, accountability, and resource development. Also responsible for including enhancements of existing systems, and acts as functional lead for Blackbaud system upgrades.
  • Serves as the Business Analyst for assigned Blackbaud Applications: Updates the Director on the status of systems issue logs. Works together with the Director and other analysts to troubleshoot issues related to all Blackbaud Applications. Provides weekly update to the Director on items noted above and recommends updates and enhancements to Raiser's Edge.
  • Writes all policies and procedures for Raiser's Edge and is responsible for documentation of business processes.
  • The Data Management Manager is also responsible for all implementation of new upgrades for Raiser's Edge, including troubleshooting, investigation, design, and testing.
  • Generates online web parts to facilitate online donations and fundraising events to schools/units.
  • The Data Management Manager is responsible for gathering business requirements and developing specifications for web-based applications. The Data Management Manager is responsible for the production, implementation and support of Raiser´s Edge and other systems modules.

Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate specialization and four years of experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialization and six years of experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Information Technology, and four years of experience; or Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience in Database Management.
  •  Applications Tools/Enterprise Systems : MS Office, SharePoint Server, Visual Studio.NET, Visual Studio 6.0, Blackbaud Raisers Edge/Net-Communities, SQI Reporting Server, ASP,
  •  Databases/Servers: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL , MS Access, R Programming, SPSS, SAS, Data Mining and Statistical Tool.
  • Tableau, SQL, and relational databases. Advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge.
  • Databases/Servers: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL , MS Access, IIS.
  • Hardware/OS: PC, Apple, RIM Devices, Tablets, Smart Phones, Windows OS, iOs, Android.

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 commensurate with experience.
