Job Summary

 

Reporting to the Development Systems Administrator and Associate Director, Development Systems, the Development Data Coordinator performs a variety of data oriented tasks including but not limited to data entry, imports and exports, as well as the on-going data cleanup of The Raiser’s Edge database. 

 

 

Job Description

 
  • Fulfill data export requests using Query and Export tools in Raiser’s Edge and data manipulation in MS Excel.
  • Perform data imports: Review, clean, and standardize source data; create import files and run imports using Import-O-Matic. Post-import, perform quality control and correct inconsistencies to maintain data integrity.
  • Reconcile datasets in Raiser's Edge from various data sources pertaining to constituencies, including, but not limited to, prospects, donors, event registrants, patients, students, alumni, and faculty.
  • Carryout data cleanup and maintenance projects.
  • Provide backup to and perform other duties as assigned by the Development Systems Administrator.
 

 

Qualifications

 
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, preferably in a development office.
  • Experience with extracting data from fundraising systems.
  • Advanced skills in handling and manipulating large datasets in MS Excel and/or MS Access.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team.
  • Must have a strong customer service orientation.
