Dashboard - Direct Mail Appeals - Viewing Results

I created my Dashboard using the "canned" output report.      Number of pieces mailed, number of responses, dollars received.



My CEO would like to see the percentage of return.    1%, 2%, etc.



Is it possible to create/add your own columns?    How do you do this?

YOu can attempt to create a dashboard from query -- not sure what all the options are here.



But when I was faced with this challenge, we used the canned report and made a shortcut for it on the homepage.  It's not technically a dashboard, but it is still pretty quick and easy.

There is no ability to create custom calculated columns in a Query that could then be displayed on a Dashboard.



The Appeal Package Response canned Dashboard gets close to what you're looking for.



Otherwise Nicole's response would work well.

There is a standard dashboard (appeal summary) that calculates the % of return.  It uses how many you solicited vs how many gave. In the properties - just make sure you select the columns you want to display.  These are the standard ones I use:



Appeal, Goal, Amount Received, No. Donors, No. Gifts, Average Gift, Total Committed, Expenses, Cost/Dollar Raised, No. Solicited, % Donated
