Is it possible to create an automatic alert for a specific survey question?

Options
Hi,

Is it possible to create an automatic alert via email when a specific survey question is answered "yes."  I am currently working with a Humane Society who is using surveys to learn more about the adoption process.  In particular, they would like to be made aware of issues that the adoptive family might be having with their pet immediately so that it can be addressed.  (ie any time the answer to #6 and #7 are checked yes, please alert)  I've tried to "MacGyver" the alert, but I still have to manually refresh the report.  Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Thank you!

  • When you are on step "2. Include Questions" the Related Actions links appear. Choose Configure Notifications. This allows you to do exactly what you are after.

Edit: Though this is based on answers to single questions. I don't think you can do a two question combination.

I suppose you could add a single hidden question, and set that field with Javascript when your two visible questions are completed.

    Hi Brian,

Thank you so much for your reply.  I'm working in the survey section now and under 2. Include Questions, I am only seeing Associate Groups and Interests, Create a Group by Survey Response, and Manage Survey Response Groups.  Could you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing?

    Thank you so much!

    Best,

    Laura
