East Hampton NY Accounting Associate

Guild Hall seeks part-time Accounting Associate reporting to the Deputy Director. 25 to 30 hours a week.

Responsibilities:
  • Processing accounts payable, allocating and coding bills, ensuring appropriate authorizations and documentation, ensuring prompt payment to vendors, ensuring the integrity of cost allocations consistent with budget categories.
  • Processing all deposits including theater, fundraising and shop income.
  • Assisting with employee benefits administration, maintains vacation records for staff
  • Petty cash administration
  • Ensuring compliance with 1099 requirements and coordinates 1099 process.
  • Providing overall support to Deputy Director managing electronic and paper files, and participates in other administrative tasks as needed,
  • Maintaining inventory in the museum shop Quickbooks Point of Sale system.
This position requires expertise in Excel, and uses Blackbaud Financial Edge software. Experience with non-profit accounting and an accounts payable software preferred but not required. Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. www.guildhall.org
