Figure Skating in Harlem is a not-for-profit community-based organization providing educational, cultural, and athletic opportunities for girls in Harlem through the unique discipline and art of figure skating. FSH provides an innovative after-school ice skating and educational program designed to build teamwork, leadership, confidence and academic achievement. 

                                                               

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position will support the Program Department on a wide variety of tasks to accomplish our daily goals and overall organizational mission. Key essential functions:

 

Operations:

• enter data from source documents into Education Edge student database, files and forms
• verify data and correct data where necessary in Education Edge database
• update data and delete duplicate records in Education Edge database
• prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
• check source documents for accuracy
• obtain further information for incomplete documents
• Assist in gathering data and compiling statistical information for program reports
• Initiate, collate and record all documentation required by the programs
• combine and rearrange data from source documents where required

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Education Edge database (Admissions, Registrar, Student Billing) and/or Raisers Edge
• Associate Degree required
• Minimum 1-2 years working with youth
• Must demonstrate reliable and consistent work habits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic team environment
• Proficient in Spanish (Preferable)
• Attention to detail, superb organization

 

DAYS:                                                    15-20 hours week, days are flexible
