Position Summary:

Coordinates processes associated with administering data/information in record keeping systems for all contribution and constituent types, including gift acknowledgement; fulfillment orders; constituent communications; and research.

Position Overview

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinates processes for gift processing for all contribution types and constituent interactions, including data entry and receipting.

• Enters data for all contribution types and constituent interactions, as needed.

• Coordinates processes for fulfillment of constituent requests, including maintaining required inventory.

• Resolves issues with contributions and fulfillment orders that cannot be fully processed.

• Independently responds to and resolves issues with constituent requests submitted by mail, phone, email, or other communications.

• Maintains centralized electronic and paper files in good order.

• Reviews own and others’ work products and file management for accuracy and adherence to business rules.

• Independently generates reports from the constituent database or on the basis of paper or electronic files.

• Coordinates monthly and daily reconciliation process with Finance department.

• Independently conducts constituent and/or prospect research.

• Participates in ongoing review and critique of systems, technological infrastructure, and work processes.

• Acts as backup to respond to and resolve issues with constituent requests submitted by mail, phone, email, or other communications for the development department.

• Engages with Quality of Work of Environment guidelines and initiatives, particularly by demonstrating adaptability and pursuing effective and constructive communications, cooperation, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork. 

• Performs other related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma, One-two year’s relevant experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work in a timely manner. Ability to handle confidential matters with a high level of integrity. Proficiency in database operations, including Raiser’s Edge required (Luminate Online and Import-o-matic helpful). Microsoft Office applications, and intermediate computer operations. Excellent attention to detail and clerical/filing speed and accuracy. Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Typing 55 WPM minimum. Must be well-organized with strong attention to detail; proofreading skills; able to work independently and within a team framework.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
