Exporting Volunteer timesheets/Data Cleansing

What methods do you use for exporting volunteer timesheet data?   When I try to export anything tied to the "constituent" the timesheets come in as additional columns rather than rows with the constituent name repeating.   As a workaround, I actually go against the recommendation and run a query of the timesheet data with all of the fields I want.   This process is time consuming and the majority of the time it is needed due to necessary data cleanup for a timesheet that was coded incorrectly.  Without the name being displayed, my volunteer cooridantors don't know how which volunteer to correct.   I have tried coming up with a way to map constuituent id to timesheet import id, but I am really struggling. 



Any advice?
