The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous (JFR), an international Holocaust organization, provides monthly support to more than 500 aged and needy Christians who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust. The JFR is seeking a Data Entry Associate in its Development Department. This is a temporary position, paid on an hourly basis.

Major Duties:

Process check, credit card, and online donations, including entry into the Raiser's Edge database and written acknowledgement.

Update donor records in the Raiser's Edge database, including research and bio writing, and maintain paper files.

Perform data clean-up projects in Raiser's Edge including merging duplicate records.

Provide other administrative support, as assigned, including answering phones, responding to correspondence, filing, and opening mail.

Education and/or Experience

Prior administrative experience in a not-for-profit Development department preferred

Demonstrated ability to prioritize work requests and complete assignments on time and manage the completion of multiple projects, often with shifting priorities, while working under direct supervision or independently.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to interact properly and effectively with staff, donors, volunteers, and the public.

Ability to maintain confidential records and information.

Ability to working independently and as part of a team.

Person must be detailed oriented and able to take direction.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Word is a requirement for the position. Knowledge of Excel is helpful.

This is a part-time position.

Benefits
Temporary employees, who are paid on an hourly basis, are not eligible for health insurance and they are not entitled to vacation or sick days. They are not paid for days that they are unable to work due to illness or other personal reasons.
