Sponsorship money included in TeamRaiser Total

We want our sponsorship money to be included in our totals for the teamraiser.  We enter them using the sponsorship tab. We were told in order for them to be included in our fundraising totals, we would have to add each sponsor as a donor and of course you can't add it as an organization so they are entered as an individual.  Then they all come down in the connector and you can't delete the transactions without adding those "individual" records to RE first.  Then I can delete the transactions.  But now I have to go to RE and create a query of those sponsorship (individual) records I just created and delete them.  This is such a ridiculous solution all because we want our sponsorship dollars included in our totals.  

 

Does anyone have any suggestions.

What about using a single constituent record for all of these sponsorships? (First: Sponsoring Last: Organization)

Thanks, I'll try that for now. I hope they eventually give you the option to include or not in your totals.
