 SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Raiser’s Edge Database Administrator is responsible for daily gift processing and timely donor gift acknowledgement in addition to the full oversight vision, strategy and integrity of the Raiser’s Edge donor database, ensuring that the organization is effectively soliciting its entire prospect and donor populations in ways that maximize revenue and participation.

 

S/he ensures that all gift and constituent data is collected, stored and properly used by members of the organization and determines how to best translate stored data into usable, actionable information for the formation and execution of fundraising strategies and metrics.  Serves as the primary liaison for the reconciliation process between The Raiser’s Edge and the finance system.  



 EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with at least five years of progressive and related experience required. Minimum two years experience as a high-level user or database manager of the Raiser’s Edge w/ Crystal Reports experience. Strong knowledge of the overall fundraising process, capital and annual campaign management and report generation, major gifts, direct mail list generation, research function, as well as gift processing and accounting.  Proficient in Microsoft Excel with great attention to detail. 

You must be able to effectively communicate with staff in all departments using strong written and oral communication skills. The employee may work in and/or visit Agency offices throughout Illinois and must be able to transport him/herself to these sites. The employee is required to have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
