IYRS seeks a Development Associate and Database Administrator to manage all aspects of a Raiser’s Edge database, build relationships with donors, and be an integral part of the IYRS Development team.



Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, the Development Associate and Database Administrator is responsible for the integrity of donor profiles and data, gift entry and gift reporting. The associate ensures that the database is properly set up, used and maintained, and guarantees the accuracy and utility of IYRS’ mission-critical data. He/she will also be involved in aspects of the Development Department’s cultivation and stewardship activities. This is an opportunity to participate broadly, and directly impact the outcomes for the Development Department.

Work activities include: Active stewardship of donor relationships, comprehensive Raiser’s Edge database management, analysis, and processing of charitable gift acknowledgments; preparing and running queries, batch imports and export reports, and support of the Development Department’s activities in total.

 

Responsibilities include the following:
  • Administration of the Raiser’s Edge database, having full authority and responsibility for database integrity, and setting up policies and procedures for use;
  • Donor engagement and stewardship in support of development dept. goals
  • Analysis of data to inform strategies for fundraising campaigns
  • Other ad hoc related duties as assigned
  

Successful candidates will have:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs and Raisers Edge
  • Initiative and drive, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Positive attitude/ strong work ethic/ highly responsible with confidential data
  • Professional presentation & conduct
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written

Hours:  Full-time, salaried position; some evenings and weekends required
