National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of care for people with Parkinson's disease through research, education and outreach.  For more information about NPF, please visit www.parkinson.org.

The, Donor Services Associate is part of a strong, customer-oriented team focused on providing the infrastructure NPF needs to build long-term donor relationships to financially support the mission and programs of NPF. Handling calls from donors to promote a good positive image of NPF will help ensure we retain current donors and encourage new ones.  A key component to maintaining good relationships is ensuring the database is maintained on a regular basis and the integrity of the database is a priority.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and respond to constituent and internal staff inquiries via phone calls or email.  Uphold NPF's high level of customer service to all constituents to help retain current relationships and ensure future ones. Remain positive, friendly and professional at all times when dealing with our constituents.
  • Run Convio data sync reports daily.
  • Import lockbox gifts from offsite gift processor.
  • Maintain and update donor database, perform merges of duplicate records as needed and processing returned mail.
  • Import gift and bio updates to database.
  • Pull mailing lists from database and export into excel for events,
  • Open and sort the mail according to type and size of donation. 
  • Handle donation calls from the National 1-800 PD Hotline.
  • Gift entry to include selected gifts on a daily basis and scanning all gift backup to main server. 
  • Prepare mailing packet for offsite gift processor.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
