  Sanford-Burnham seeks a Database Administrator to facilitate and support the fundraising goals of the Philanthropy Department by managing the philanthropy database with and for the department and Sanford-Burnham.  Reporting to the Associate Director, Philanthropy Operations, the individual establishes advanced systems and processes for database management and internal and external reporting, consistent with best practices and excellence in strategic philanthropy.

 

Responsibilities include the department's donor/corporation/foundation prospect database, proactively improving systems and processes; responding in a timely manner to team members' requests for wealth research data; creating donor profiles through prospect research; generating user-friendly reports to track and communicate the department's progress; gift tracking and processing, and serving as the primary Philanthropy Department database manager.  As an integral member of the philanthropy team, the Administrator will provide guidance and maintenance support for staff members' database system needs. He/she will also assist with special events as needed and help improve and expand the Institute-wide donor stewardship and recognition programs.
