Development Database Manager - NYC

Phoenix House is seeking an adept Development Data Base Manager to join the Development team in New York City, NY. The Manager will provide administrative oversight to the management and entry of constituent and gift records; process and record all gifts, pledges and pledge payments; create gift acknowledgements and tax receipts; and, provide systems and data support for both Development team and Regional partners. This is an opportunity to impact Phoenix House by helping to establish a culture of philanthropy.

The Development Database Manager will provide accurate reporting, records, rating and tracking of donors, and the communication involved in compiling, maintaining, interpreting and articulating comprehensive data that aids Phoenix House's advancement efforts. These duties range from designing and implementing database queries in response to requests for information to providing updated reports on gifts, pledges, progress towards fundraising goals, and other financial data as requested either through regularly scheduled updates or upon request. The Manager will also provide assistance to the Director of Development, including ad hoc support at special events, expense reports and calendar management. S/he will serve as the primary liaison between development and finance department for reconciling.
