NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

 

The Advancement Services Coordinator will gather, organize, manage and disseminate information to guide the sound and effective advancement and overall business decisions of the Foundation. The successful candidate will l help to establish systems, adhere to guidelines and apply technical solutions to minimize risk, and maximize efficiency of all systems.to support the philanthropic efforts of the Foundation team.  He or she will support both the sales team and donor relations officer's work ensuring appropriate systems to capture data in a timely manner. He or she is passionate about making things happen, managing and refining our stewardship processes, and being the go-to person for all system details.  This position serves under the guidance and direction of the Vice President/Centegra Health System Foundation. 

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Coordinator will work in close partnership with the Foundation sales team and will be responsible for follow-up activities following meetings with potential donors, as well as stewardship activities for current donors. Specific responsibilities include:

 

  • Data entry and maintenance in Raiser's Edge, and other internal systems if needed.
  • Processing gifts and directing necessary follow-up with donors, including thank-you letters, gift processing, and scheduling follow-up meetings.
  • Communicating with other staff about follow-up activities and deadlines, and ensuring those are completed in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the team in donor relations projects as needed, including helping to systematize individualized stewardship plans for reference, tracking and follow-up.
  • Creating donor reports to maximize prospect strategy.
  • Managing calendars and timelines around follow-up with potential and current donors.
  • Providing research or other administrative support as needed.
