Creating Call Lists

Options

Does anyone have suggestions on creating call lists which will be used by staff?  I am new to RE and job and have been asked to create this list.    The task is to pull solicitors associated with donors and organizations and what event they donated to.  Anyone familiar with this?  Thanks.

    I've pulled call lists before.  You'll need a query of the donors whether it's to a particular event, by amount or by date-say gifts this month.  Query will group together the records you need.  Don't worry about outputting all the fields here.  Create the query and then use that query for what records to include in Export.  In Export select all the bio data output you'll need for the phone calls.  I can select an output of solicitor the fund or event as I know how they recorded in my database.  For me it's gift to fund or appeal and the solicitor assigned to gift.  Exactly how you will do that depends a bit on how you've entered data.   If you've used solicitor assignments and the solicitor is recorded on the gift the data is fairly easy to pull. 

    There's a preview icon at top of screen that will pull first 10 or 15 records.  Just look over the fields you're outputting and go back and add/change as needed. 

    Save the export and then you can re-use it for gifts for next month or whenever you run lists again. 

    I know you said you're new to RE so this may not be totally clear, I'm assuming you have some basic knowledge.  If you have more questions, just post again.
