Our mission is: excellence in the provision of healthcare services to communities in the Intermountain region.Our patients deserve the best in medicine, and we deliver.Job DescriptionThe Philanthropy Systems Manager is responsible for management of the Intermountain Foundation's Philanthropy Data Services Team, which is dedicated to the overall administration of the consolidated donor database - Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge (RE) -- for all of the fundraising programs system-wide.  With an understanding of both the business of fund development, as well as the capabilities of relevant data systems, this position initially and in the short-term supports the project to consolidate seven single instances of RE into one, and establishes a standard online giving and stewardship tool (Blackbaud's NetCommunity).  This position manages the Philanthropy Data Services Team, in an effort to ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of standardized data functions including how information is recorded in RE and other reporting tools. This is a leadership position that manages a small team of systems support personnel and works closely with system, regional, and local fundraising executives to help assess / manage donor information to inform higher-level strategic fundraising direction.  This position reports to the system's Foundation Operations Officer.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree.  Education will be verified and degree must be obtained through an accredited universityFive years of progressive experience as a philanthropy data system administratorDemonstrated literacy in information systems and technology, in particular Raiser's Edge and other development-related software systemsDemonstrated excellent analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to  understand and speak to the technical aspects of the work, and translate that language to mission-driven fundraisers Demonstrated ability to work effectively with, and provide counsel in the use of RE to all levels of the organization including senior management, fund development professionals, and information technology staffDemonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently, under pressure, while juggling multiple requests and competing deadlinesExperience with Windows-based applications including email, spreadsheets, presentation, word processing, and database.Experience managing professional staffDemonstrated respect for confidentiality and accuracy in handling donor informationPhysical RequirementsHearing/listening, manual dexterity, seeing, speakingPreferred QualificationsFundraising experience in a healthcare settingExperience in a matrix organization or structure where support is provided to local entities from a centralized officeDemonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teamsStrong leadership skills and demonstrated experience managing a team of database managers or management specialistsA strong orientation towards customer service, and experience in team building and change managementHighly motivated, as well as flexible, adaptable, and able to maintain a positive attitude while navigating a large, complex, rapidly changing organization, and while positioning others for successPlease NoteAll positions subject to close without noticeAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Additional Details:Working Hours40Primary Work LocationCentral OfficesJob TypeFull TimeLocationUS-UT-Salt Lake City
