The Actors Fund, a national nonprofit organization serving professionals in need in the entertainment community, seeks an Advancement Systems Administrator to manage the full process of maintaining our Raiser's Edge and Patron Edge Donor Databases, including policies, procedures, entry of gifts, donors, acknowledgements, generation of reports, and volunteer information, and training of Advancement staff.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise all aspects of donor financial record keeping, as well as all relationship data entry, including the assignment of any required codes, the determination of data fields to be used, timely recording of gifts and volunteer activity in database, developing and implementing of procedures to detect accuracy of data entry. Coordinate and work with the Advancement and Finance departments on the utilization of the database, developing and producing reports, developing integrated Funds, generating all necessary lists for all Events, Annual Reports, Newsletters and other requested information. Train staff responsible for Major Gifts to ensure that all relevant Moves Management Campaign information is entered properly.  Empower all users to fully utilize Raiser's Edge and Patron Edge. Work with Manager of Membership and Direct Mail consultants to ensure all appeals, acquisitions and e-appeals are accurately coded, lists properly identified and tracked and web pages and functionality (Net Community Spark) in place. Maintain and create new processes and procedures, as needed, for all data entry, acknowledgements, reconciliations, de-duplications, and segmentations of the database as well as creating standards of entry.  Research and update software to ensure that The Fund has state of the art resources in place in order to keep current on all new fundraising initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree and a minimum of five to seven years experience in a database management position of a comparable mid-sized to large non-profit organization are required. Other key skills/competencies required are:
