Importing New Organizations

I'm new to importing, and am trying to import a list of new organization constituents (not individuals). My headings are set up correctly, but I keep getting an error message that the required field of "last name" is missing from my list. Since I'm importing organizations (using OrgName) and not people, there are no last names. Anyone know how to import organizations? Do I have to take an additional step somewhere to let RE know that's what I'm trying to do? Any advice is appreciated!

I would just add the field leaving it blank.  The Key Indicator field which is required for the import will identify the records as org or individual.  Per import guide individual fields are not imported with organizations.  As it's a required field for individual records, until the import runs and identifies that every record is an org record, it's going to ask for last name.

JoAnn, thanks for the advice! I tried your suggestion and it didn't work, but it led me to look into the Key Indicator field more. I needed to put "O" in that field for it to be recognized as an organization. Once I did that, it imported without issue. I must have missed that in the import instructions. Thanks!
