The George W. Responsibilities

This position reports to the Director, Operations (Data Management) and will provide strategic, high-level thinking and management support in the areas of management support systems.  Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Fostering relationships with and providing appropriate information and decision support for development, accounting/finance, marketing, operations, and the policy areas of engagement of the Bush Institute.
  • Using available resources to facilitate customer ad-hoc and/or ongoing requests (Raiser's Edge queries, exports, canned reports and a specific emphasis on Crystal Reporting).
  • Provide day-to-day task administration of employees responsible for database administration.
  • Continually assessing database structure to ensure it meets current and anticipated needs.
  • Serving as a representative of the Director,Operations as appropriate.
  • Providing exceptional and expedient customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Providing assistance for special projects and general office support for the Bush Center as needed and assigned.

 

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will preferably have at least three years of nonprofit experience and will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of five years of a working knowledge of Raiser's Edge.
  • Minimum of two years of a working knowledge of Crystal Reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to the vision and mission of the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

 

The candidate will further be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to develop strategies and structures that allow dynamic organizational goals to be met.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and processes.
  • The ability to clearly articulate and facilitate customer's needs in a professional and efficient manner via writing and verbal skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
