You can help manage the grassroots communication program for the nation's leading cancer advocacy organization. The Digital Campaign specialist will play a leading role in helping ACS CAN execute award-winning legislative campaigns and be at the forefront of launching our new global advocacy campaign. This position is for that person who loves advocacy, knows their way around an Excel spreadsheet and wants to be part of a highly innovative digital campaign team. Digital Campaign Management Work extensively with ACS CAN's online tools - mostly Convio/Blackbaud's Luminate Online - to design and develop highly targeted and segmented email campaigns. Global Campaign Play a leading role in launching and managing ACS CAN's new global advocacy campaign. Leverage newly developed research to create compelling online action opportunities for existing and newly acquired volunteers. Support Field Staff Provide superior customer service to field staff related to the use of the organization's online tools as well as answer questions about the global grassroots campaign. REQUIREMENTS: -Five years of experience working in organizations or companies involved in grassroots, legislative or political campaigns. -Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. -Experience with global policy or cancer issues is NOT required. -Strong experience using an online email marketing tool. Convio/Blackbaud experience preferred. Data management and use of Microsoft Excel. Basic HTML experience a plus. -Less than 10% travel. -No direct staff management responsibility. -No indirect staff management responsibility.
