Gift with Matching Gift in same check?

Hi, I'd appreciate any feedback on this one! I receive a number of checks from corporations which are made of a mix of direct donations from employees and employers, which will usually be something along the lines of Larry: $5 (Employee Payroll) Larry: $5 (CorpCo Match) Curly (For BigGift Pledge #260): $400 (Employee Payroll) Curly (For BigGift Pledge #260): $400 (CorpCo Match) Moe: $10 (Employee Payroll) Moe: $10 (CorpCo Match) Moe: $10 (Employee Payroll) Moe: $10 (CorpCo Match) Since most of these are small gifts, I really don't want to manually create matching gift pledges for each one, though if I could do it within the batch it might work. When I tried to use "Create Matching Gift" in the batch, it seems to want to wait until the batch is confirmed to generate the matching gift pledge. Has anyone found a clean solution for linking the gifts up within the batch? Since there's so many small gifts, I really am hoping for a simple solution, but there may not be one.  I don't think there is much that you can do in the batch.  After create MG pledges and you commit the batch, you can apply the gifts to the pledge after the fact.
