Database and Online Associate

Lambda Legal seeks a Database and Online Associate to join their Development Department. This position will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of the online database and will report to the Database Manager.

Lambda Legal is a national, nonprofit organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education, and public policy work. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in New York City, Lambda Legal has regional offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas.

Responsibilities

The Database and Online Associate (DOA) will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of Lambda Legal's online database (Convio). This includes updating constituent contact/billing information, processing online gifts, reconciling online gifts against the offline database (Raiser's Edge), performing data integrity maintenance procedures, and providing data for various Lambda Legal reports. The DOA will work with other team members and assist with gift entry and database needs during peak times.

Qualifications

The DOA must have good analytical and time management skills. S/he must be a detail oriented, well organized self-starter, able to multi-task and function under pressure. The DOA must have excellent communications skills and the ability to work well with others. Proficiency in Raiser's Edge and Excel are required, familiarity with Convio, and Microsoft Outlook preferred.

Salary

Salary is in the low to mid $30's. Excellent employer-paid benefits package is provided including medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance and generous employer contribution to retirement account. Generous vacation.
