best practice for coding foundations/corporations with same name, different address

Options

We're trying to come up with a best practice/standard for how to enter an organization that operates or provides funding via their foundation--sometimes more than 1. For example we have UBS:

1) UBS in Weehawken, NJ

2) UBS Foundation in Princeton, NJ

3) UBS Investment Bank in 299 Park, fl. 38 NYC

4) UBS Warburg, 299 Park, fl. 8 NYC

Currently we enter them all as a separate organization. #1 & 4 are given a const code of Corporation and #2-3 are const code of Foundation.

 What do you guys do?

Thanks,

Rob

Each would have their own record in RE for us.  Our foundations have constit code of foundation.

For some of these multi-branches, we create org relationships between them if appropriate or to 'parent/hq/corp office" and also parent/subsidiary links (bio 2 tab).

We set ups as separate constituents and link with relationships.  I also set them up to automatically soft credit each other.  I know not everyone would do this, but we have so many instances where a pledge is made by the corp but paid by the foundation.  And it simply helps users to see that giving history reflected no matter which constituent record you are looking at.
