Active Memberships vs. Membership Report Totals

Options

Hello,

When we pull information on the total memberships we have for a calendar year (eg 2013, 2012, 2011, etc.); the numbers we get when pulling "Active Membership List" form the dashboard page in comparision to our "Month/Year Statistical Analysis" Report and when we pull our "Comparative Membership Statistics Report" give different numbers.

Could someone please explain why these numbers are so drastically different even when we include the same parameters? We want a solid number for each calendar year. Please advise.

Best Regards,

Amanda

Amanda,  we don't have the membership module but I've run into similar discrepancies using some RE reports.  I've chatted with support.  Most often it's been the default way one or other of the reports is programmed to run that caused the difference.  Sometimes the defaults don't make sense.

Just a thought...  check with support.  They can do a screen share and help find the cause.
