FareStart Database Specialist -  Seattle, WA

 

FareStart has an immediate opening for a highly experienced, organized and detail-oriented Database Specialist to join our Development team.  The Database Specialist is responsible for the development and management of the organization's Raiser's Edge database.

 

Duties will include accurate entry into database of gifts received, pledges and in-kind donations; generation and processing of gift acknowledgement letters; weekly and monthly reconciliation with finance department; production of donor lists, mailing lists and data for donor recognition needs; compiling statistics, forecasting trends and conducting segment analysis of donor campaigns; coordination of software updates and conducting systems and function reviews; researching and advising Development team on technology use and availability; assisting other Raiser's Edge users and finance staff in various capacities relating to the database; capturing and input of prospect research in database; providing customer service to FareStart supporters via phone or in person as needed.

 

This position will report to the Donor Relations Manager and works in collaboration with Development team members and several cross-functional teams within FareStart.  As a member of our staff, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a positive difference for disadvantaged individuals in our community.
