GIFT PROCESSING MANAGER

The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health invites applications for the position of Gift Processing Manager.

Established in 1996, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity whose mission is to elevate the priority of children's health and increase the quality and accessibility of children's health care through leadership and direct investment. The Foundation fundraises for research, training, and patient care at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and for pediatric and obstetric programs at the Stanford University School of Medicine. The Foundation also supports communications, advocacy, and health care system development to elevate the priority of children's health in California and enhance opportunities for children in the state to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Development Services, the Gift Processing Manager's primary role will be the accurate and efficient administration of all aspects of the gift processing function including acceptance, deposit, data entry, acknowledgement, reconciliation, and reporting of all forms of gifts (cash, checks, credit cards, securities, in-kind, pledges, and matching gifts) in accordance with state and federal laws and IRS regulations.  S/He will ensure adherence to consistent gift coding in accordance with existing policies and provide guidance/training as necessary to Foundation employees.  The Gift Processing Manager will supervise the Gift Processing Associate and work closely with the Development Services team, the Foundation's development and finance departments, and key financial personnel at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital ("LPCH") and Stanford University School of Medicine ("SOM").
