Built in Report for donors who give to every assigned Appeal?

Options

I was asked to find out donors who have given every time their are solicited by our mail campaign for the last two years. I was hoping there is a built in report designed to do this already.

Don't know that there's a report designed specifically for that.  But here are some options.

If it's just 2 years, you could run Reports > Analytical Reports > Comparative Report - Export data to excel and sort the two giving amount columns to delete records that gave $0 either year.

The Consecutive Years report may give you results too.  Use date of last year and select your appeals.  If you have 2 appeals, it should be the names with "2" in # of years column.  (Again would have to export to remove other names.)

Should be able to pull group by query.  Need 2 simple queries: donors to each appeal (Gifts > Gift Amount = greater than $0 AND Appeals > Appeal ID = ABC2013 )  Then merge them using merge operator of "AND".

If I'm understanding this correctly you could do a query and choose Assigned Appeal one of, select your appeals and make sure to check the box that "Each record must meet all specified criteria". Then choose Gift Information Appeal one of, and again select the same appeals and check the "Each record must meet all specified criteria" box.

If I understood it correctly also, that sounds like a good idea to try. [I] Didn't think of that little checkbox in query.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately the previous admin did not use packages but instead created around 8 appeals per mailing which means around 24 for the year (we do three mailing currently).

For now I am going to tell the person it is not something that can be easily done.
