Performance metrics for development officers

Options

Does anyone use performance metrices to track the performance of your development officers? It would track things like how many major gifts were closed, number of solicitations submitted, number of face to face visits, etc. If you have any type of report that you're using would someone please share it with me. It could be in Crystal or Reports, or whatever.

Thanks,

    Mary,

We have multiple reports built in Crystal Reports that track performance of development officers. One report uses Proposal records to track "asks" and includes ask amount and date, expected amount and date, and funded amount and date.  It's formatted by month so they can see somewhat of a "cash flow" and what should be coming in.  We also have a report that tracks number of donor visits based on Action records.

Are you just looking for samples/screenshots of reports?

Thank you Josh for responding. I was beginning to think I was never going to get a response.  But yes, can you send me samples and screenshots?  Greatly appreciate it.

    Wow!  Feeling the love am I.  [{] [Z] [}]

I'll start with my presentation from BBCon 2013.   Page 13 shows a sample of our "Percent of Asks per Visits" which is based on a performance measure that is included in the DO's annual performance review.

Pages 27-30 show the cash flow report that I mentioned and is based on Proposal records (not gift records).

Let me know if there are other sample reports anyone would like to see.  I'll need to edit the reports to remove confidential information so please give me some time to reply.

    Thanks,

    Josh
