Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA seeks a part time (20 hr/week) Gift Processing Specialist for our fast paced, dynamic, fundraising environment. The Gift Processing Specialist is responsible for analyzing, properly coding and entering daily cash and non-cash gifts in Raiser's Edge (a comprehensive, integrated, relational database system). Duties also include production of gift receipts and individualized acknowledgement letters. This person may also respond to donor inquiries and requests for information pertaining to the gift entry process. The Gift Processing Specialist assists the Donor Development Manager in maintaining data integrity and adding new data to the database as well as assisting in mailing list queries.

Our ideal candidate has:

o    Extreme attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills.

o    Experience working in an office environment (preferably in fundraising or non-profits).

o    High level of proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and database experience, (Raiser's Edge a plus).

o    Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with a variety of individuals and audiences graciously.

o    Ability to handle and maintain sensitive confidential information.

o    Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team.

o    Comfort level to manage multiple tasks with interruptions in an energetic environment.

o    Capability to work well under pressure with periodic heavy workloads, sitting 5 hours consecutively.

Compensation is $10 per hour start and may develop into Full Time position with benefits. 20 hour per week schedule is 9am to 2pm Tue through Fri.
