How to pull Attribute description information into a mailing

Trying to do a mailing based on a certain attribute and would like to be able to include the information that has been included in the attribute description field.  Is there a way to include this information?  These files have no gift information as no in kind receipt was needed so the information was placed in an attribute (the donors have made auction item donations to an event several years in a row and we would like to include the prize information in the thank you letter that we have created).  Is there was a to pull this information into a letter either through export or mail tabs?

Both constituent attributes and gift attributes can be exported.  In constituent export, you just have to drill down available fields enough to get to attributes and then pick attribute and the description / comment field where your data is.

Regardless of whether or not you needed a receipt - I would have entered this as a gift. That is the best way to be able to do a "thank you" for a gift.

As a constituent attribute you are limited to using export. I do not see any way to get a constituent attribute into mail via quick letters and you can't use a donor acknowledgement letter without a gift.
