Founded in 1964, School Year Abroad (SYA) is the only secondary-level school which allows students to live with a European or Asian family for an entire academic year while earning U.S. graduation credits and preparing for admission to selective U.S. colleges and universities.  Using second language as the vehicle and another culture as the extension of our classrooms, SYA helps secondary school students become broad-minded and well-educated citizens of the world.

Reporting to the Director of Development, and supporting an Alumni Relations and Development Office of seven people, the Development Systems Manager is responsible for the maintenance of all computer-based alumni and development information systems, including all aspects of the Raiser's Edge database; creating and running queries and analytical reports; overseeing gift entry and acknowledgements; and managing direct mail operations.  Candidates must possess strong database skills and should have at least three to five years of relevant development experience.
