GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position provides information and system support for the Office of College Advancement, ensures the accuracy of Advancement information, assists with gift accounting functions as needed, and supports the department's mission by providing appropriate systems support and training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides ongoing analytical reports to support, enable and inform the Advancement Office.

Manages the acquisition, storage and retrieval of constituent information.

Works closely the with the Gift Accounting Manager who processes all gifts and pledges.

Works with the Director to support the Advancement Office efforts at compliance and external reports.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong logical, analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Abililty to manage multiple projects.

Knowledge of relational databases required.

Proficiency in using Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Word and Excel required.

A bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of full-time expeniece working with data systems, perferably in a fundraising operation.
