Convert lower case Names for Import

Options
Hi Everyone We have downloaded spreadsheets of donor info from Online Giving websites that we want to import into Raiser's Edge. Trouble is, the text (name, surname, address, etc) is as exactly written by the donor and we have a lot of lower case names (ie. john smith). Does anyone know of an automatic as opposed to manual way of editing this in Excel? I have tried using the formula =PROPER() but the results of the formula won't copy/paste as actual values and RE needs the 'actual' value not a formula that displays the value.

AHA! Answered my own question - my initial mistake was when I copied the cell with the resultant formula in it, I pasted it into another cell. Instead, I have just tried copying the original formula cell and then special pasting (values) into the SAME CELL. The result is the actual converted data and not the formula representing the converted data. HOORAY!

    You got it.

Another answer would be to buy and use Import O Matic to import your data which would allow you to see these (using side by side comparison option) as they go in and correct them.
