GRAPHIC DESIGNER & WEBSITE COORDINATOR The Austin Theatre Alliance is seeking a Graphic Designer/Website Coordinator. This position is responsible with creating and executing all required marketing materials including all web-related marketing needs and requirements. These requirements include all season, single tickets, branding/awareness, positioning and overall messaging associated with the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Building and maintaining internal and external relationships required to fulfill all marketing material execution and distribution including outside media outlets and vendors. The gathering of any required materials to create marketing materials such as online footage, photos, performer bios, etc. The creation, execution and fulfillment of all single ticket marketing materials for presented and produced shows including: Posters, flyers and program stuffers Print and online ads Online initiatives Other additional materials as they are required Coordinate and execute all necessary website requirements and activities including: Ongoing maintenance and updating of website Creation of graphics associated with website Creation, execution and distribution of outgoing and incoming of e-communications Coordinate and execute all organizational marketing activities including: Working with the Executive Marketing Director to plan, strategize and execute all required organizational marketing and PR initiatives Coordination of all internal marketing activities including: Marketing materials for distribution within the theatre Theatre frontage and electronic communications Event requirements (invitations, direct mail, etc) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree required (marketing, communication, or design preferred). 3-5 years of proven design/web experience in an in-house marketing or design department. Expert in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat as well as proficient in HTML. Good eye for design; ability to effectively express concepts visually in layout form and be technologically savvy. Strong team player with a positive attitude (a great sense of humor is a plus!) Highly organized, efficient, and deadline-oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional portfolio required. Competitive salary/benefits package.
