Issues with a Gift Detail/Summary Report

I am having a problem with running a Gift Detail/Summary report that I do not recall ever having before. I set up a query asking for gifts from NetCommunity. I plugged that query into the report and I get all of the correct gifts PLUS gifts that were not given online. It occurs on individuals that may have given once online, but then all of their other gifts show up as well. Am I missing something? I would look in Knowledgebase but I am not sure what to look up!

    Is your query  constituent query or a gift query? You should be using a gift query if you only want those specific gifts. A constituent query will give you all donors who meet the criteria but not limit what gifts it reports on.
