Summary of PositionThe developer will be part of the Application Technologies department. This person will be part of a team that supports all of the college's administrative offices' information systems. Each Developer has certain offices or areas of programming that she/he specializes in, while assisting in other areas. This person will learn the proprietary software and work closely with the providing company, attending classes and conferences as necessary. This requires troubleshooting and data manipulation/correction. This person will work with users to write, test, and implement new applications for them.Education RequirementsThe qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Three years of programming experience is required. Experience with SQL Server Enterprise Manager, VB6, Datatel Colleague software or Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge software is highly desirable. Familiarity with SharePoint is preferred.Degree/MajorBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldLength of Experience3 years of programming experience required.Supervisory ExperienceNoSupervisory Experience DetailNone.Special Skills or ExperienceGood customer relation skills are required for this position.
