Recording of Mobile Regular Giving data

We are planning on running a test campaign recruiting to mobile regular giving (payments taken each month via the supporter's mobile phone with the ability to skip each month).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I wondered if anyone had any experience of this, particularly how they are storing the data on Raiser's Edge.   Have you set up a new supporter record for each new supporter (even though we may only know their mobile phone number)?   Do you set up a recurring gift record and add in the recurring gift pay-cash for each monthly donation?   How do you code it (e.g. Payment method = Cash / Other).    What do you do about skipped payments? Any pointers about this greatly appreciated

I would definitely do a recurring gift. Recurring gifts have the ability to skip payments (as well as roll back) so it should work out fine. Pament method probably does not matter too much - if it matters to your organization then you may want to check with Finance on what they prefer.
