Summary

This position serves as an integral member of the Development team, contributing to the successful advancement of the Institute of Noetic Sciences. The Database Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and ongoing management for the database system that supports organizational development and information services. This includes gift processing, database integrity, prospect management, reporting, data analysis, entry of gift and constituent information, list generation, and overall development systems.

This position is responsible for the maintenance and proper use of The Raiser's Edge database and Luminate Online fundraising software as it connects with The Raiser's Edge. The Database Manager provides support and training to staff in the use of these constituent relationship management systems, coordinates with the accounting department to ensure that gifts are properly coded and communicated, and is the primary development liaison with IT.

Essential Functions

Create strategy, refine policies, and document procedures to ensure efficient and effective use of The Raiser's Edge database and Luminate Online (formerly Convio) fundraising database.
