The Saint Bridget Catholic Parish and School Community in Cheshire, CT is looking for an energetic self starter to be the Technology Manager  for the Community with special emphasis on the administration of Blackbaud applications. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of Blackbaud Education Edge, NetClassroom, and FAWEB applications as well as supporting the needs of educators and administrators in its use.

Responsible for:

  • Managing all technology elements of parish and school including: Data (Computers), Voice, Video, and Infrastructure
  • Strategic Planning and setting organization goals; developing technology budgets and managing vendors and contracts
  • Administration and maintenance of all general applications including email, Quickbooks and other 3rd party applications.  
  • Administration and maintenance of Blackbaud Education Edge and Raiser's Edge database, including all student, faculty, and parent data for data accuracy, integrity and security.
  • Administration and maintenance of student and parent web portal, Net Classroom, for access to student information including: grades, report cards, scheduling, school announcements, school calendar, etc.
  • Administration of Net Community web portal for church and school constituencies.
  • Education and training of faculty, administrators and parent organizations on the capabilities and use of the applicarions.
  • Coordination and support of parish / school processes that interact with software (scheduling, website portals, calendars, year-end reporting etc.)
  • Create and revise queries, reports, exports and mailings for internal and external use.

Applicants should have experience working in an educational environment with a solid understanding of education requirements and operations, a basic understanding of networking and databases, and be familiar with one or more of the installed Blackbaud applications.

This position reports to the Pastor and Principal and supports faculty, administration and parent organizations in a consultative fashion.
